mygwhiz.org, Georgetown's Wireless Highspeed
Internet Zone, is on-line and operational.
On 11/8/07 we built a new broadband transmission
tower on the west end of Georgetown. It will be able
to provide service to many residents outside of
Town. We began hooking up new customers on the
waiting list 11/29/07.
Residential service is $35 per month plus a one-time
installation fee of $50. There is also a $50 deposit
required to set-up the account.
Businesses are $100 per month, plus a one-time
installation fee of $50. There is also a $50 deposit
required to set-up the account.
Smaller Businesses needing speed of only 512 KB
the cost will be $35 per month, plus one-time
installation fee of $50.
